Establishing the Needs and Criteria

Before we can accept any assignment, we complete a rigorous assessment of the position to be filled. For MedicumSearch it is key to gather an in-depth understanding of your organization and the challenges it faces and the position on offer. We also require comprehensive details of the position and remuneration, as well as a summary of the experience, qualifications and competencies to excel in the role. If we are to potentially sell any opportunity to a candidate or proactively head hunt on your behalf, we need to know what it is like to work within your business. Once this is established MedicumSearch will put together an assignment brief and definitive recruitment plan.

Identify Targets and Candidates

Once the recruitment plan is agreed and timescales are put in place MedicumSearch enter the search phase of the assignment. This combines the most effective combination of database searches, networking, advertising and headhunting. On the basis of our research, we approach potential candidates on an informed basis.

Short-listing and interviewing

Once MedicumSearch has collated a comprehensive long list of candidates that meet the strict pre-screening criteria, the candidates will be met and interviewed by a senior member of our team. In the case of international applicants, video calls are used to conduct interviews. The intention is to verify the capabilities of the applicant in line with their written credentials and assess their potential fit with your organisation. Following the interviewing process, a short list of candidates will be finalised and presented to the client. It is our expectation that the shortlist or identified individual will be invited for interview. MedicumSearch is available to assist with the organisation of the interview and advise on interview technique.

Offers and Placement

Once the interview process has been completed and both the client and candidate are happy, MedicumSearch can if required act as a mediator in making sure that both parties are satisfied with the package on offer.
